Hi girlfriends!
I’m so excited to welcome you into my studio soon. Here’s a simple guide to help you get ready:
🌟 The #1 Rule (I’m saying it three times!)
Don’t do anything NEW.
Don’t do anything NEW.
Don’t do anything NEW.
This means:
- No brand-new haircuts or colors you haven’t tried before.
- No new skin treatments, chemical peels, or products.
- No first-time waxing or tanning.
Your skin, hair, and body love routine. Stick to what you know works for you—your confidence will thank you!
👓 If You Wear Glasses…
Wear your glasses! Trust me! I was there, done that.
If glasses are part of your everyday look, they’re part of your story—and they photograph beautifully. If you have concerns about glare, don’t worry, I’ll guide you during the shoot.
2. The Day Before
✨ Rest Up – A good night’s sleep will make you look and feel fresh.
✨ Hydrate & Light Meals – Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy, salty foods that may cause bloating.
✨ Hair Wash – Wash and dry your hair if you’ll be having it styled at the session. If you’re styling it yourself, go with what makes you feel confident.
✨ Pack Your Bag – anything sentimental you’d like in your photos.
3. The Day Of
✨ Arrive Fresh-Faced – If you’re getting professional hair and makeup done, arrive with clean, moisturized skin and no makeup.
✨ Loose Clothing – Wear something comfortable and loose to avoid red marks on your skin from tight bras or socks.
✨ Eat Something Light – Don’t skip meals! A light, healthy snack will keep your energy up.
✨ Trust the Process – You don’t need to know how to pose or “look sexy.” I’ll guide you every step of the way so you can relax and just enjoy the experience.
4. Mindset & Confidence
💗 This is about you. Don’t worry about being “perfect”—you already are.
💗 Focus on how you want to feel. Bold, playful, soft, powerful—whatever fits your personality, that’s what we’ll capture.
💗 Embrace the nerves. Almost everyone feels a little nervous at first, but those butterflies usually turn into excitement within minutes.
5. Optional Extras
✨ Bring your favorite music playlist—something that makes you feel empowered.
✨ Incorporate personal items: your partner’s shirt, a favorite perfume bottle, or a meaningful piece of jewelry.
✨ Treat yourself to a little luxury: a spa day, new lingerie, or even just quiet “you time” before your shoot.
🌹 Remember…
A boudoir session isn’t just about photos—it’s an experience of self-love and empowerment. Show up as you are, and let yourself shine.
